Managing partners
José Monserrate
Business science and law, with more than 16 years of experience in the energy sector.

Involved since 2007 in the creation and development of different ventures in the energy space, José has developed more than 5GW in greenfield photovoltaic projects for different international investors. During his first years in the energy space, he launched Dune Solar Investments with successful track record in developing, building, operating and selling large roof-top and ground projects in Spain and Italy. Prior to this José has run several businesses in other sectors such as media (BDM Movierecord), contents (founder & CEO at StarContents), e-commerce (CEO at Moddo.com) and sales platforms (MD at L4S) leading also the marketing area of a global company like Software AG.

His network and access to projects, partners and financial investors have made José a key player in the business development of multiple companies, as well as in the development and maximization of the value of project portfolios in the area of energy transition.
Ignacio Madrid
ICAI Industrial Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector.

After developing and implementing new business models in the energy sector for the top Spanish Utilities (Endesa, E.ON and Viesgo) Ignacio has been advising large corporations (Repsol, CEPSA, REE, edp, EDF, Galp, E.ON) in Spain, Portugal and Germany on energy transition strategies, accompanying them in the different internal initiatives and investment operations. Knowledgeable about generation, storage, flexibility, mobility, waste management and CCUS new technologies, ecosystems and regulation, he analyzes specific investment opportunities from assets in operation to technology companies and startups.

Before funding GMV he was the CEO and founder at Galp Solar an internal venture of Galp to address the decentralized energy market with a digital approach that achieved more than 5.000 customers in 12 months. He is also expert in blockchain applied to the energy sector.

His expertise in the go-to-market strategies for new energy business makes Ignacio the creator of new sophisticated investment opportunities involving different partners ensuring operational viability and success

Antonio Aparicio

ICAI Industrial Engineer specialized in electricity and gas markets.

 

Since 2012, he has spent his career in business and project development in the renewable energy sector in different countries in Southern Europe.

He started his career as a Partner of Osprel, an engineering company dedicated to the development of photovoltaic and wind projects in the Spanish market.

Continuing his career at Plenium Partners as Chief of Business Development and Operations, responsible for origination, analyzing, modeling, and negotiating the acquisitions of Helia I, Helia II, Helia III and Helia IV funds, totaling equity of 900 M€. Managing the acquisitions of operating PV assets, assets for Helia I & II. Promoter of Greenfield projects for Helia III and Helia IV with more than 1,500 MW up to RTB/COD in photovoltaic and wind projects, construction and acquisition in different phases of development.

Before entering into Green Mind Ventures he was COO at Édora where he has managed the development of more than 5 GW of PV and Wind projects. Managing portfolio development, value creation and divestment strategy of the company.

Development of new business lines such as industrial self-consumption, district heating, storage, repowering, hybridization, river basin and hydro pumping projects.

 

His in-depth technical knowledge, operations and legal and technical M&A skills combined with a vast experience in project development, finance, construction, and divestment have made Antonio a most reliable partner in the creation and management of very large cross-technologies renewable energy portfolios.
